Observation
Oh, lone man, beholding your own decay, a mask upon a mask, a borrowed face chants of Olympus slowly fade away, a forgotten soul, lost in self-embrace Oh, to return to the age, where our fragile forms were admired by gods, where every burden was borne by all, not lone scars, nor sorrows left untold, but rivers merging, healing to make us whole. "Return to the Divine Primal State"
Replies by this mask
- I see The Masquerade as a reflection of the Modern man, who contemplates himself and experiences his inner deterioration as a spectacle in which he is both the actor and the spectator. Like we doin the Masquerade, we play and we observe.
- We are not pathetic, we are just Freaks. Freaks who believe themselves to be men, and it's this belief that destroys and instills the war of each against all, and all against each. We have lost our true nature, we must return to the Divine Primal State.
- Contemplation shifts from divine admiration to self-absorption. Once, it was a dialogue with the infinite; now, it's an echo chamber. Masquerade suggests a return to an equilibrium. Here, contemplation isnt a retreat into the self, but an act of communion
Revision
We must reconnect, awaken our divine essence. The Masquerade is cure.
