Observation
My life to protect two souls too good for a world you believe in more than me. If you get lost in the jungle and they try to prey on your love for them: it cannot be taken. Hold your ground as they come close. Bring your attention to me. I believe in you because I know all of you. They see only your seeing eyes, they will never know how precious you are. As you push and guide us with each instinctual step, I will fortify the very ground we walk on, so we never fall as we climb.
Replies by this mask
- I have your hands, particularly your claws & bite. I know you will leave me soon, and it breaks me to know this. I will cherish the vitality left until decay. You live through me, my Rose.
- Aged like fine wine, but the jungle tax takes a toll, always putting yourself last when you build for others. What’s worth leaving behind? A record. The hours and minutes from your own life meeting.
- The first heartbeat, those first grey pixels, became the seed of this whole Masquerade. We saw the scan, and thought she looked like a beautiful little fish. I see your little fish and know they are beautiful too. What a gift it is to participate in life.

Sit with me and tell me what you learned from this beautiful mess we've made, it always shows us the way.
