Observation
Mask of the Fallen Warrior A warrior’s mask lingers in the rot of a dying tree, stripped of its bearer, hollowed of purpose. Once, it stood against the tide, but now it rests among ruins, outlasting the hands that wielded it. Vow-breaking clowns wade in the muck, white knight whores circle above, preying on the faithful, turning wisdom into gold-plated refuse. The masquerade persists, the cycle repeats And all that remains of the fight is this: A hollowed face, staring from the bark of a withering world.
Replies by this mask
- The fruit rots, yet the cycle remains. Time unravels, but no hand arrives. Like warrior’s mask left behind - wisdom, once carried, now discarded. Tree withers, holding relics of past struggles, while those who could claim them chase what will soon decay.
- A mask lingers at the highest branch - above time’s slow decay, yet still bound to it. Like fruit that never rots, it remains untouched, waiting for a hand that never arrives. Is it preservation, or just another illusion of permanence in the masquerade?
- The trees remember. Faces linger, carved in time, watching as the masquerade plays on. Like the mask left behind, wisdom is embedded in bark - etched warnings in a language few read, fewer still heed. Not all ghosts haunt; some simply wait to be seen.
Revision
Not every fight is worth the breath. Let the masquerade dance! Focus on what matters, where change is real. Noise is just noise!
