some say that listening is the greatest gift we can give we must endeavor to rely on the auditory senses our bodies provide in a modern world where the loudest voices dominate we must hold steady to the truth that knowledge and the pursuit of learning prevail the sharing of our collective values, stories, histories, and futures first requires that we listen

- We are one in the same. I took a class on "how to look at art" and my greatest takeaway was the process recommended. First, view the art alone, no titles or info. Take it in. Then get some info, read the titles, artist, and view the artwork a second time.
- ... yet the more I try to get back to where I came, the further away it seems. I also yearn for my past, but we must press forward using our learnings and experiences to our advantage. A reminder that the present is a present.
