The forest is hot today. Beads of sweat drip. Hard to breathe, to see, to focus. It will only be a minute. Sweet relief. The sun is bright. Fresh air is crisp. Discomfort fades. Regret. The only rule, Broken. The air tastes different. Was it worth it?
