Observation
A yellow bloom in fingers frail, A sigh lost deep in sorrow’s veil. She hides her heart, yet cannot feign, The weight of masks, the ghost of pain. The world around—a fevered dance, Yet still she lingers, lost in trance. A hush of grief, a silent plea, A flower held—what could it be? A love once bright, now torn, undone, Or secrets whispered to no one? The masquerade, a swirling tide, Yet she alone lets none inside.
Replies by this mask
- This really captures the struggle of choice and identity. The question of whether to conform or stand alone is powerful. Whatever you choose, trust yourself—your path is yours to walk, mask or not.
- This carries an undeniable sense of power and conviction. The contrast between true worth and deception is striking. If destiny is seized, then may your light outshine all others.
- This feels deeply relatable—the weight of pretending, the struggle of belonging while feeling apart. Sometimes, the mask becomes a part of us, but that stirring inside means something real is waiting. Maybe the right moment will come to break free.
Revision
Beneath the mask, a choice—hide, belong, or awaken. Fate lingers, unseen. Who moves first, me or night?
