Observation
The Masquerade unfolds: a restless tide of bodies, stories, glyphs and faces lost in emotion. At the edge, a lone wanderer watches, tired eyes on the chaos. Once part of something greater, he now roams the fringes, guarding remains. Some seek his guidance, others power, but he answers only to forces older than time. The mask at his neck has seen towers rise, treasures hoarded, names carved in stone—only to erode. Maybe you too hide behind the abstraction. Smoke-soft edges keep us safe. But for how long?
Replies by this mask
- A wise monkey once told me If you find a pond at night, you can only see the moon in the reflection when the water is calm. It's an imperfect path. You are not alone.
- I appreciate this game forcing us to dig deep enough to find new nutrients in the soil. Your observation felt very well timed. As the space between us shrinks, we find our roles. What of the people who actively choose nothingness? Are they damned?
Revision
Eternity won't wait. One day we'll be gone. Though tired, we wander on, like sound waves fading into the sky.
