Observation
The dahlia’s form is full of strokes, Not straight, not perfect—not even close. For life is not a flawless road, But scars that shape, then heal and bode. Each petal links to the center Node, Binding as one in a strong abode. Through storm and change, they stand and show, That life’s not perfect, yet we grow. A symbol bright of joy and grace, Yet laid where breath has lost its place. Though petals brown and start to fall, Their roots still stir beneath it all. A sign that love will always stay.
Replies by this mask
- You shame money, yet with that same money, you buy a mask. I agree—staying innocent is valuable, as kids see the world more positively. However, while I believe in preserving that innocence, it seems hypocritical to condemn the very thing you rely on!
- Even as society crumbles and masks become the faces we recognize, the earth refuses to play by human rules. It does not mourn our downfall; it simply continues. Flowers bloom whether we notice or not, roots dig deep regardless of our neglect.
- Does the mask shape the wearer, or does the wearer shape the mask?
Revision
"When the Dahlia dies, its seeds scatter and take root elsewhere. From its end comes new life—flowers are always connected."
