Observation
The Mystic Perceives Pattern He recalls ancient trope That shadow is The womb of Creation And dazzling drama Is but glamor For Decay Beneath the veil He names Angels Cloaked in darkness Averting eyes From deception False gods Of those refusing to see The Artist behind it all Wisdom emerges Only from the margins From one peering past The boundaries of Known Revealed in the concealed Inner sanctum To First Fractal Destruction births Creation Beauty begets Demise And Masks Reveal Our truest face: That of God.
Replies by this mask
- Falling from Babel, we come to completion. Full characters that yet create chaos. What would a restored building project truly create? Beyond heavenly tower, might it bring hidden order into focus? Find harmony behind the insanity, truth beneath the din??
- And what of the Mask of light and righteousness, as we allow the Pure wield virtue like a cudgel to cover their own shadow? Might dark corners shroud a deeper source of divinity, out of which the dawn of Creation might emerge? A flip of Mask and Essence?
- Is he but the Observer, transcribing a world of objective experience, or the Author, shaping worlds into existence from his own mind? Eyes downcast, what does he miss and ignore? Purpose in scribing, does he allow is own words to eclipse the larger Truth?
